On September 12, 2025, the time had come. The all-day Schneggen anniversary celebration, which Ernst and Robert had been planning for a long time, was held. The number of participants was very good and everyone was excited about what was to come. The meeting point was very early at 8:45 a.m. in the parking lot of the Klostermühle in Münchweiler. There, everyone was loaded into a vintage bus (Saurer Oldtimer 1952), which then took them on the surprise trip. After an outdoor snack with 2 large pretzels and sparkling wine, we continued on to the second event. The participants were informed about the details of the organ art in the Catholic church of St. Goar & St. Elisabeth. For most of them, this was certainly something they had never heard of before. Then it was on to a small lunch in a well-known old inn in St. Goar. With a full stomach and a good mood, the next highlight was already waiting. In St. Goar on the banks of the Rhine, we embarked on the MS Boppard passenger ship, which took the group to Bingen, past the Loreley. The time was passed with coffee and cake and all kinds of information about the region. In Bingen, the vintage bus was waiting to take everyone back to the starting point in a happy and cheerful mood. After a champagne reception, a wonderful 3-course meal was served in the Klostermühle. As usual, the evening lasted a little longer, and with pleasant conversations and a good atmosphere, the day was allowed to come to a close.
